I am being a bit of a cheat and using this post as both the BritMums Meet & Greet which is hosted over at Stepford Wifey and also the Ultimate BritMums Live Meme which is the brainchild of one nosey blogger called Claire, who blogs at A Boy with Aspergers.
Name: Michelle
Twitter: @michelleTwinMum
Blogs: Mummy from the Heart... & Honest Mummy Reviews & Recommendations
What do I look like?: Long blond hair, blue eyes, 5ft 4" and lots of curves!
Likes: Helping people, God, Christian music, food, my family, blogging, clothes shopping, a tidy and clean house, going on holiday, warm spring days, gardening, reading, cinema
Dislikes: People that think they are something special, trashy magazines, kids being rude to their parents, the work, work, work culture in the UK
Right so that is the easy bit out the way, now I need to answer nosey Claire!
Q: What’s your blog title/URL and how long have you been blogging?
I have already given my URL above. My blog started in Feb 2008 and then lay dormant until March 2009, then it was updated reguarly and went live for all to see in Jan 2010.
Q: Will Britmums Live be your First blogging conference?
No, I went to BlogCamp and CyberMummy last year
Q: Did you bag yourself a sponsor?
I am speaking so my ticket is sorted & I am umming and ahhing about a sponsor. I sent my favourite one over to you Claire. (Doh, bangs head on desk!)
Q: Are you attending both days?
You bet ya, hubbie been booked since the date was announced.
Q: What are you most looking forward to about the conference?
Sorry BritMums, I am sure the event will be fab but for me it is all about the people. I am sharing a room with 2 super bloggers and we gonna party!
Q: Are you wearing Branded Clothing ( you’re sponsors brand)?
I highly doubt it, not my bag at all.
Q: What is your planed style for this event?
I picked up a dress in the sale which is too small, God willing I will be wearing that. If not, who knows, you'll see me panic all over twitter nearer the time.
Q: Are you hoping to be nominated for a BiB award?
Awards are completely flattering, but I do tend to be a bit of a worrier - see my recent post (with over 90 comments!)
Q: If so what category?
There are 2 categories I fancy if I am honest (now that does not necessarily mean that I think I should win, just that they appeal). Inspire and the absolute icing on the cake would be the Outstanding category.
Q: Will you be looking to network with Brands?
Hmm, maybe a bit but that is not my main focus. Fun with friends will be that.
Q: What do u hope to walk away having gained from the conference?
Think I will just duplicate your answer Claire - New ideas, inspiration, contacts and new friendships
Q: Will you be dressing up in the toilets for the Friday night BiBs?
I did change for CyberMummy from day to night so my instinct would be to do that but actually I may just have a better time if I chill and have a few glasses of wine with good friends and not worry about what I look like.
Q: Are you speaking at the conference and if so when, where and how do you feel about doing so?
Yes, I am speaking. I am part of the Friday Bloggers Studio (Crossing the Chasm, bringing your blog up to the next level). Logically I know I will be absolutely fine, I train for a living, talking to people does not phase me and I am with a bunch of chatter boxes on the panel. So actually the problem might be getting some people to be quiet for a moment and me getting a word in!
Q: Will you be joining in the early morning bloggercise on the Saturday?
What a crazy question. Exercise on a Saturday- not on your life. That is what week days are for!
Q: What speakers are you most looking forward to listening to?
It will be really nice to hear from some bloggers that I have read for some time, like Melinda Fargo, Toni Hargis, Cherry Menlove, Ellen Arnison
Q: What workshops will you be attending on the Friday (Day 1)
I have no idea yet, you are far too organised!
Q: What Workshops being held on the Saturday (Day 2) have grabbed your attention?
As above...
Q: Are you booked into a hotel for the Friday night, if yes which one?
Yes, the Travelodge
Q: Will you be looking for after party drinks
I plan to have a lot to drink (sorry Alex & Clare, you'll just need to join me!)
Q: Are you worried about not knowing anyone or being confident and socialising on the day?
Not this year, last year I went on my own, had a room on my own and worried! This year I am sharing a room with 2 fab ladies, have met a ton of bloggers in the last year and feel I know lots of people. There are also tons of newbies that I am looking forward to meeting. I am a genuine sort, so if you see me and recognise me, say hi and I'll happily chat.
Q: What’s are you most likely to be found doing why attending Britmums Live?
Enjoying myself in one way or another - eating, drinking, chatting or if we are lucky enough to have something like the P&G pamper lounge again - I'll be in there!

and I'll make it easy for you, if you do fancy nominating me for a Brilliance in Blogging award then just click the badge. Thanks a lot. Mich x
Right I have been told I need to share the rules with you! Basically copy the questions and answer them, link back to A Boy with Aspergers and there is a linky there so we can all find each other and learn a bit more. Then tag 4 or so more people to join in. (and if you think there are too many questions, just do a few - I won't shoot you!)
