It is a genuine pleasure to see you all here. Did you see that there was 34 links up last week to Reasons to be Cheerful? That really made me day, it made me busy trying to get to everyone and say hi but that is a good kind of busy.
If I'm honest I'm not feeling the cheeriest of people this week. Since a dear friend was rushed into hospital last week I have just felt plain sad. I'm praying harder than I have ever prayed before and the signs are good but it is serious stuff and she is not out of the deep water yet.
Add to that the fact I've felt poorly since last Friday and been up and down you get a bit of a droopy Mich! Because it is Reasons to be Cheerful time and I'm not allowed to be glum, sad or overwhelmed today (that will be the house move!) I am going to cite my overriding reason for being glad as this linky. Last Friday I published a post titled 'Reasons to be Cheerful is the best linky ever - fact!' and really I should have saved it for this weeks post. I am amazed at the amount of people that the power of positive thinking helps and I'm so grateful that God put it on my heart to start this link-up.
Ohh we, also had a fabulous day at Legoland at the weekend, despite me being in the loo rather a lot! here is my kids at the end of the day enjoying a slush together, they really are very easy to please! You can see lots of photos from the day here if you fancy.
Now join in and spread the love
Can I please respectfully ask that if you link up, you at least visit one other blog that is linked up and leave them some comment love. I visited all linked up posts last week and it was the same superb commenters again and again (you know who you are, superstar commenters). I know you are busy, so am I, it just makes a real difference when people go and visit someone new - go on be brave - leave a comment for a name you do not recognise, instead of the same friends.
If you are new to #R2BC then have a read about what I believe and why #R2BC started, it has literally changed my life to have this weekly focus on what is good (or God) in life. How easy is it to allow things to become doom and gloom? So if you want to join in, go for it. Link up what you fancy (well as long as it is not just a blatant advert), a recipe, the simple things in life, photos, a story - whatever! Add in the blog hop code so people can travel around and then visit others and share the comment love.
But if you are not sure how to add in code or anything else, don't worry - just go for it and leave a link to your post in the comments and I'll link you up.
