Handmade in July

Annie started a new linky and is asking people to share what they have made in July and I'm bursting to show you my blouse that I finished sewing. It has taken me a fair while as I've been doing it at a sewing evening class but it is fabulous to now have a new skill under my belt and a handy one at that!

Sadly it is a bit small at the moment, I just went by the pattern rather than measuring myself which is a bit of a faux-pas but it will fit soon enough!

Then the only other thing I made in July was this extra-easy cake for my girls birthday party. It was yummy and looked very effective without being too labour intensive.  Thanks to Helen at the Crazy Kitchen for the chocolate cake recipe. I particularly enjoyed my cake with a nice cappuccino from my Dolce Gusto machine!

I'd love to share a massive post with you of all the things I have made but to be honest my priority right now is trying to do less, not more!

What have you been making lately, anything nice?
