We've had NOW TV for around three months now and I have to admit that my family have been firmly converted, it is the on-demand TV service that is best providing all that we want to watch. It's good that between us we can all watch in the way that suits us, be it on our tablet, in the lounge via the NOW TV box or even using our laptop, but to be honest with 5 of us in the family it would be good if we could have more than 4 devices on our account as JJ, dh and I would all love to have both our iPads and laptops registered for use at different times.
Of course there are three strings to the NOW TV bow but we don't really watch much sport so it is the movies and the entertainment options that are really working for us.
8 year old girl picks
The girls are super happy to have many of their favourite programmes again, each time I walk into the lounge I'm greeted with iCarly, Victorious, Jessie, Austin & Ally and of course Sam & Cat too. If my little girls could roll forward about four years and be 12 years old and living in the States they would be in their idea of heaven.
12 year old boy picks
JJ is all about the movies and he avidly checks each week to see what the newest releases are, just recently I've heard whoops for joy when he found out that Tomorrowland has been recently added. I asked him for a few recommendations of films he has watched recently that other 12 year old's might like and he was quick to recommend Paul Blart: Mail Cop 2, Minority Report, The Simpsons Movie and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
Grown man picks
My husband loves all the box sets and there is more than he could ever possibly want on NOW TV to be honest. The ones that he is working his way through right now are Bones, Criminal Minds, Hannibal, Twin Peaks and Glee. Yes Glee, really. I had to chuckle when I came home the other week and found his whistling away, apparently it is full of good tunes!
My guilty pleasures
I'm a bit less gory in my choice of viewing than my husband but I do love to get my teeth into a good box set. the newest one I am really enjoying right now is Madam Secretary with Tea Leoni, it is such an interesting insight to life in DC and the acting is fabulous. I'm also a little in love with Madam Secretaries husband, I do hope I'm not the only one who develops crushes on TV characters?
The other box sets I have added to my watch list just recently are mainly classics, but ones I've never watched before - The West Wing, Greys Anatomy, Scandal and Martina Coles 'The Take' as her dramas are always brilliant.
Disclosure: I have been gifted a NOW TV box and passes, I am also an affiliate. I have not been instructed what to write and I remain honest.
