It’s not often I get to head out to the shops on my own or
with my girlfriends nowadays and I did used to love shopping. So whilst my
husband had the kids this afternoon I headed out for a coffee and a browse of
the internet to see what the latest knitwear trends are for 2017.
At 44 I’m not interested in wearing the height of fashion any longer but I do like to look good and for the last few years I seem to have resorted to wearing super comfy, but very shapeless cardigans and I think that has to stop!
At 44 I’m not interested in wearing the height of fashion any longer but I do like to look good and for the last few years I seem to have resorted to wearing super comfy, but very shapeless cardigans and I think that has to stop!
So, I’ve been having a good search of the web and have found some amazing pieces of David Nieper knitwear that I want to share with you -
Out and About
Shopping – Go-Anywhere Poncho
Why bother with a coat this season when you could wear something
much more fun like this go-anywhere poncho? I think this is great, I love the
pattern and the contrast trim and the neck is wide and soft to make it easy to
pull on and off as many times as you need to. It is made from angora wool so is
wonderfully soft too. Can’t you just imagine enjoying a hot chocolate at a
Christmas market wearing this? £99.
To keep you Warm on a Winter’s Day – Grey Cable Detail Jumper
When the bitter weather arrives all I want to do is feel
snuggly and warm and this beautiful lambswool and angora jumper is pale grey is
just perfect. I’d be teaming it with skinny leg dark blue denims and a pair of
ankle boots. I love this kind of jumper with my hair swept up and worn on top
as it then shows off the neckline to the best advantage. £125.
To the Office – Tie Neck
Merino Jumper
I love office work wear but it can get a little boring at
times and I think it is nice to add a little femininity to your look. This
pretty jumper with tie neck is available in cerise, kingfisher or navy and I
love that it is modest but beautiful. I’d happily team this with a black, navy
or charcoal grey suit for going out to meet clients. £115.
OK, at £185 this isn’t the cheapest dress but then when has the best ever been cheap? Merino wool is in a league in its own and I can already imagine how amazing this dress will feel when you wear it. I love the gently ribbed skirt that can swish around and I see this dress as something I’d wear for Christmas day with knee high boots and some statement jewellery.
Christmas Day or Party - Stunning Red Merino Wool Dress
OK, at £185 this isn’t the cheapest dress but then when has the best ever been cheap? Merino wool is in a league in its own and I can already imagine how amazing this dress will feel when you wear it. I love the gently ribbed skirt that can swish around and I see this dress as something I’d wear for Christmas day with knee high boots and some statement jewellery.
Taking the Kids to
see Santa – Charcoal Merino Rollneck Jumper
This jumper is perfect for the weekend when you are out and
about with the kids. I’d be wearing it with jeans, boots and a black leather
jacket. Therefore staying warm but also keeping my look youthful and on-trend.
The button detailing on the cuffs is a nice addition but doesn’t take away from
the timeless cut of this beautiful merino rollneck. £95.
When you Fancy Something a Little Fun – Striped Merino Scarf
Not every outfit has to be serious, sometimes you fancy a bit of colour or a little fun element, right? Well I think this stunning turquoise, blue and black striped scarf will give any outfit the edge. £45.
All the David Nieper knitwear I have shown here is available in sizes 10 to 22/24. It is all designed and made in England, which I love. It’s so nice to support a home business. Delivery is free if you spend over £175 or £4.95 if you spend under that threshold and all returns and exchanges are free of charge.
