Christmas Gift Guide for Tween Girls - From 50p to £50

{As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases, any affiliate links will be marked with #ad}

Can you believe there are only 42 sleeps until Christmas?  It's not long is it? Just over a month in fact.

Are you sorted yet or are you like most of the population and you are only just starting to think about what you might buy your tween girl? You'll probably know I have twin tween girls so I have been buying a lot of different items ready for Christmas as they are true to form and asking for completely different gifts!

Read on to see some of the gifts my girls are getting and I hope they'll provide you with a few good ideas. There is the whole price spectrum covered here from a couple of quid stocking filler up to a £50 main gift. Let's start big!

Gifts for Under £50

Unisex Kids Lacoste Watch from WatchShop.com - £49.00

I'm really envious of Miss E getting this watch for Christmas but alas it is too small for me. The colour is stunning and I love its simplicity. As Miss E has dyslexia it was important to have a clear watch face with numbers rather than roman numerals, so this watch from Lacoste (#ad) really fits the bill. It's available in quite a few colours as well to suit your child's tastes.

The watch comes with a Lacoste 2 year guarantee but it feels sturdy and as the strap/ face casing is plastic, resin and rubber it will be durable for a youngster to wear. It is also water resistant to 50 metres so I don't have to worry if she gets in the bath with it on.

The watch comes in a super cute box too and what girl will be able to resist those eyes peeking at her in her stocking?

Num Noms Nail Polish Maker - £39.98

I'm sure if you have a tween girl you've heard of Num Noms (#ad). What started out as small scented collectables have now branched out into all sorts of things, but one thing remains all their products are super cute, pastel coloured and sure to be a big hit with a tween girl.

The RRP for the Num Noms Nail Polish Maker set is £49.99 but I see it is on special at many stores and the best price I saw was £39.98 at ToysRus. I just know that Miss M is going to be over the moon to be able to make her own scented (think strawberry, blueberry and banana) nail polish colours on Christmas day. The styling is perfect and the cuteness goes right down to the three nail polish containers, there is nothing ordinary or boring about this set and of course it all smells fabulous too.

This playset comes with a gorgeous scented Num - Heavenly Froyo and of course this cafe playset can also be used with your collection of Nums for imaginative play either as you make polish or once it has all gone and you just add it to your other playsets to make a Num Noms town.

Available from Smyths Toys and other large retailers.

Mc2 Pixel Purse - £49.99 at Smyths Toys

If your girl loves the Netflix Original series Project Mc2 and is into all things geeky but girlie too then she is sure to love this super purse/ bag from Project Mc2 (#ad), as seen on the programme. As well as being a functional shoulder bag in a pretty pink colour with silver chain strap, it also has a customisable LED light front.

The purse comes with batteries already installed and it has 10 pre-programmed animations for out-of-the-box play but if you fancy customising it, all you have to do is download a free app (iOS or Android) and then you can set the LED lights to a design of your choice. Your daughter is sure to be the envy of her school friends with this fab gift.

The RRP is £59.99 but it is worth shopping around, the first time I looked I found it for £44.99 but the average price seems to be about £49.99. Available at Smyths Toys, John Lewis, ToysRus and other large retailers.

Gifts for Under £20

Unicorn Slippers from Findmeagift.co.uk - £14.99

Just look at these gorgeous and comfy Unicorn slippers, do I even need to say anything about them? What girl doesn't love unicorns and comfy feet, it is a perfect combination and these are fab slippers with textured undersoles for easy grip. They are adult sized though so be aware, I'm just lucky (or is it unlucky that my girls have big feet).

Available from Findmeagift.co.uk

Sheaffer Maxi Calligraphy Set - £20 at John Lewis

Miss E has started calligraphy club at school this term, so this beautiful set is a perfect gift for her. You get three bold pens and a fine, medium and broad nib, along with 20 inks, so you can create wonderful artwork and lettering without having to clean your pen. Also included is a detailed instruction manual full of hints and tips to set any user on the right track.

Available from Amazon (#ad) John Lewis, WH Smith and other good stationers.

You are my No. 1 Framed Image from Desenio - £16.90

Desnio has loads of amazing images and so many have inspirational messages on them. I gave Miss M this one last year as she got a new dressing table and she loves it. There are all sorts of price points and you could do a similar image in a smaller size, but still framed from as little as £6.90.

Available from Desenio.

Gifts for Under £15

Shopping Fund Money Box from Findmeagift.co.uk - £13.99

Miss M is a shopaholic; that is her idea of a dream day - to have some money and to go out with me and shop, shop, shop.  This shopping fund moneybox I spotted on Findmeagift.co.uk was therefore perfect. It is sturdy and big for collecting her pennies but the back comes off easily for when she needs to use it and it is cool that the front is see though as she can visualise what she has to spend.

Warmies Plush Toys - £12.95

Every child loves a plush toy and these ones from Warmies (#ad) are super cute and there is a big variety of designs. But better than just being a plush that they can cuddle or play with you can pop these in the microwave and warm them up and then they become the perfect bedtime companion in the winter. Each is infused with French Lavender for a calming smell and each plush has met the relevant safety standards for the UK, Europe and the USA.

Boppin' Bugz from JML - £12.99

These Boppin' Bugz look so much fun and I'm sure my daughters will be in hysterics as they play with them at Christmas. Bella the Beetle, Boris the Bookworm, and Fizz the Fly are a bunch of crazy critters who will create hours of endless fun as your child chases them around, trying to catch them to stop their crazy antics. With a motion sensor on their back, each Bug can detect movement to deviously dive, dodge and deny you the chance to give them a bop and make them stop. And, because they’re reacting to you, it means each chase is unique! When you finally manage to Bop your Bug, you’ve won! You get flashing lights,

Gifts for under £10

Crazy Aarons Thinking Putty - from about £6

You can buy a small or large tub of thinking putty and unlike slime, it lasts forever. It really is very beautiful and you feel compelled to play with it. Miss E has some already and the metallic colours are mesmerising as they change as you play with it. It is a tiny tub but we have found it is worth buying this original brand, rather than a cheaper alternative.

Available from Amazon (#ad), ebay and novelty gift shops.

LOL Surprise Doll - £9.99 or Disney Emoji Mashem - £3.49

Miss M hasn't had a LOL Surprise doll (#ad) yet but she has been badgering me for one for ages, so I have picked one up for her for Christmas. Basically, you peel away the layers of the ball to reveal which LOL doll and accessorises you have received.

The Mashem is a small squishy emoji toy and again you have no idea which one you will receive until you open the little tub.

Jojo Siwa 8cm Bows - 7 Pack - £9 from The Entertainer

The Entertainer had these bows on buy one get one half price and they were a great deal, so we had to snap some up as I know one of my nieces will love them as well as Miss M.

Gifts for under £5

4 pack of Sweet Treat Lip Balms - £2.99 at Home Bargains

My girls adore lip balms and especially any that are food or drink flavoured and scented. Home Bargains has a large range of these great 4 or 5 packs of lip balms.

Anything from Smiggle - from 50p

It's worth signing up for the Smiggle (#ad) newsletter as you then get to hear about all the sales and special offers. I tend to stock up on goodies throughout the year when items are on special price. So many of their items are scented and my girls adore this. There are useful really useful items like pencils with their times tables on them

Gloves and scarf from Millets - From £2 each

Practical stocking fillers like gloves, scarves and hats are always a necessity. Is it just my kids who manage to lose one glove every year? These cute panda style mittens from Animal will go down a storm with Miss E, as will the Peter Storm plain chute, which is a great product that can be worn as a scarf, face wrap, hair band or anything else they fancy! It's just £2 right now and available in a few colours too. Definitely check out Millets for kids accessories

So what do you think? Have you seen something in my guide that you know the tween girl in your life would enjoy? And if you have any great recommendations for this age group then please do leave a comment for us all.

Many thanks, Mich x
