Would You Use an Online Pharmacy?

Image thanks to Assured Pharmacy

I have to be honest I've never considered using an online pharmacy before. I'm lucky to have enough time to go to the doctors, get my paper prescription and then head to the pharmacy but when I think back to working full-time and the restrictive opening hours of GP practices, it was quite a different story then. Also what about if I was a man with a sensitive problem, like erectile dysfunction. I'm sure I'd want help but I don't think I'd either A, want to miss work to go and see the GP or B, have to talk about this issue face-to-face to my doctor.

Can you trust an Online Pharmacy?
This is where an approved and reputable online pharmacy comes in handy. you can get the medication you need, without having to go out of your way and with minimal embarrassment factor. When I mentioned this to a couple of friends they were both worried that they'd receive substandard medication, or that it would come from aboard or not be legal in the UK but I was able to reassure them.

I've been checking out AssuredPharmacy.co.uk, who are approved by the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) and have a GMC (General medical Council) registered doctor issuing their prescriptions. I particularly liked that I could (within moments) check online that that the MHRA registration is current and that the prescribing doctor - Dr Roisin McHugh is currently registered and able to practise medicine.

AssuredPharmacy.co.uk have been established for a few years now and it is reassuring to see their 93% excellent service score on TrustPilot, gained from 3,564 reviewers, so you can't really argue with the fact they are proving a quality service.

How does it work?
  1. The process for getting your prescription medicine is easy. View the product you are interested in and check out the price and make sure you are happy before you progress. It's also worth noting that Assured Pharmacy have a price promise that they check daily and if you find the same product cheaper on another regulated online pharmacy in the UK you can email them for a refund of the price difference.
  2. Click the start consultation button to fill in the health screening and then Dr Roisin McHugh (GMC Number 4538 637) will review your details and issue the prescription if appropriate or seek more information from you if necessary.
  3. Pay for your medication. The cost you see for the medication includes the prescription and also delivery costs (by first-class Royal Mail recorded delivery). You will have to sign for your medication as this is a legal requirement but you can choose to have your package delivered to work and don't worry it will come in plain packaging to ensure confidentiality.
  4. Your parcel should arrive with you the next day if you order by 3.45pm although this isn't guaranteed with the recorded delivery service, so you should opt for special delivery at an additional cost of £4.95 if you want to ensure you will receive your medication the next day.
  5. Then if you have any issues receiving your parcel get in touch with the team at Assured Pharmacy and they will happily help to resolve your issue. Contact them on 01625 460 621 or email team@assuredpharmacy.co.uk

I think you'll agree, this all seems really simple and a very easy way to get the medication you need whilst feeling safe and secure that it is a true regulated product available in the UK. Why not give it a try?
