I've had some great walks out in our grounds with my kids over the last few months. Sunset is a popular time, once dinner and tidying up is done, we head off and wander. The girls go on the swing, they teach me tik tok dances and they laugh at me, it's bliss!
We even had the cat accompany us one night, following us the whole way around one fo the lakes. The girls want to get him a collar and lead but I don't think he'll like that.
I only really noticed how busy I've been when I was looking at my blog and realised I hadn't posted an #R2BC post for ages. 12th June was my last one, so it seems as if I am managing one a month right now. There hasn't been anything majorly interesting going on, but I've been enjoying at least one day out each week to a National Trust site with my husband. We're making sure our membership pays for itself.
We feed the deer at Knole House in Sevenoaks -
We picnicked with all the kids at Ightham Moat in Kent -
We walked the Seven Sisters with some friends who live in our community with us -
My hubby and I explored the wider estate at Scotney Castle -
JJ and I had a good long walk in the area surrounding Bodiam Castle, and enjoyed a coffee and feeding the ducks there.
So, amongst the busyness of everyday life and working, there has been plenty of great things to be grateful for. Thank you Jesus.
