Enjoying Lockdown in Femme Luxe Loungewear

{This is a paid collaboration with Femme Luxe}

As we're all spending so much time at home right now, loungewear is definitely the order of the day. My teenage girls have been spending their days in fluffy pyjamas and tracksuits, so when Femme Luxe got in touch and asked if I'd like to collaborate again, the girls were over the moon. Last year they had some great T-shirts from them and they are wearing and washing really well.

I have to admit that as a larger lady it's not a site I've ever had a look at, their clothes are definitely for the smaller and more trendy lady. Some items go up to a 16 but many just seem to go up to a size 14 and it is one of my pet peeves when clothing manufacturers call a size 12/14 an XL. You can't possibly call a size woman extra-large, but I'll save my rant for another day as this post is about the clothes the girls have received and they do actually really like those.

Trendy Loungewear

Miss E went for a classic black tracksuit, or loungewear in modern speak. This one is the Susan design with an oversized fleece front-pocket drawstring hoodie and matching cuffed joggers. It is currently on sale for £23.99, which is very good value for a two-piece set and I see there is a 10% site-wide discount right now, taking it down to £21.59.

It seems well made and checking the cuffs and the seams etc, they are all well-done. The material is very comfortable and feels nice and fleecy inside. Miss E went for the XL size, which is a 12/14 and we think is true to size, as she wears a 12 in most other clothes. At 5ft 7" she is fairly tall and was really pleased these cuffed joggers are a good length.

Miss M actually choose the set above, but Miss E agreed to model it for her, as she was feeling a bit self-conscious.  This nude cropped hoodie and high-waisted utility pocket joggers loungewear set has been the big hit of this delivery and I have seen Miss M wearing at least one of the pieces most days so far!

As you can see from the photos above the colour looks different inside the house to out. It is described as nude but is a kind of light peach/ beige colour. It retails for £25.99 for the two pieces and again has 10% off currently if you use the code TKE10, making it £23.39. This two-piece loungewear suit feels super fluffy inside and I'm told it is really comfortable. It's available in sizes XS (6/8) - XL (14/16) and feels pretty true to size. The cargo styling with a big pocket on one leg and one arm is great and makes this a stand-out set, different to most others on the high street.

Femme Luxe has loads of joggers on their site, in all kinds of styles, colours and cuts and the girls are already planning which ones they might like in the future, as they are a staple of their wardrobes, for relaxing at home, going for a run or just helping me around the house during this lockdown time.

Stylish Separates

The last item that Miss M choose was a cropped white denim jacket and she is really in love with this. She bumped into some friends the first time she wore it and they all commented on how nice it is. It is available in sizes 6 - 16 and is true to size. It feels really good quality and the current price tag of £19.99 is a bargain.

I love the little puff sleeve styling and the buttons on the pockets, sleeves and front are good quality too. The jacket is available in white, black, denim blue and pink. I don't think Miss M saw the pink before she ordered or I suspect it might have made it onto the order list!

Femme Luxe Service

I've had two deliveries from Femme Luxe now and I have found their ordering and delivery to be super-efficient. The clothes literally arrive within a couple of days, the first time they used Royal Mail and this time Hermes and they were both excellent delivery experiences.

There is free delivery on orders of £25 or more and it is £2.99 for orders under that for standard delivery or you can pay a little more for quicker options if you so wish.

If an item doesn't suit you, you can return it for a full refund and it will cost you £2.50 to use their Royal Mail tracked service.

We've been very happy with our Femme Luxe experience, the clothes are a reasonable quality for the small price tags and they are very on-trend and just right for my teenage girls. There is also tons of choice on the website, so why not take a look and make sure you browse the outlet too, as there are some super bargains there.
