A July full of Reasons to be Cheerful

I'm feeling very relaxed and happy as we went away on holiday last week and now I have the whole summer stretching ahead of me. If only the sun would come out again!

Worthing Holiday

So the holiday is the first super big reason to be cheerful. We stayed in Goring, next to Worthing and it was glorious, the weather was great, our holiday house was right by the beach and it was so good to spend time with my parents and brother. We did all the simple UK beach holiday stuff, time on the beach, swimming in the sea, playing mini-golf, penny arcades, walking (and skating) the prom and the pier, out for meals, as well as shopping, trampolining and car booting!

Mums Birthday Stay Away

Earlier in the month I also had a night away with my Mum for her birthday. We visited Kew Gardens (which I'm yet to write about) which we enjoyed a lot and stayed at the Macdonald Frimley Park Hotel, which was great. The room, food, hospitality and stay in general was excellent and we'll definitely stay there again.

My Girls Birthday

My twinnies turned 14 in July and had some fun celebrating with friends at Ninja Warrior and also on holiday. They got lots of lovely presents and money to spend too. How did I become the mum of these two beauties who are both far taller than me?

Looking After Me

Something seems to have clicked and I am looking after myself properly. I am eating much better, I've been exercising, drinking water, getting good sleep, taking my vitamins - all the things I'm supposed to do daily to help me be healthier and lose some weight. I can't wait to see how the weight loss adds up over time!

I'm now looking forward to a really good August, as we have all sorts of fun stuff planned, as well as some days with nothing planned, which are well needed.

How has your July been?
