You can also create a full leather set for the desk. Home office workers, especially, put their desks through a lot. As they spend a lot of time sitting at the desk, the surface can rapidly show signs of wear and tear where they put the mandatory teacup! A leather coaster can help protect the desk and make the whole setting feel more put together. Also, why not pair it with a leather mouse pad for a touch of elegance that keeps them motivated during the day!

When you spend several hours staring at a blank wall, things can begin to feel dull. Colours play a crucial role in our mood and motivation. Therefore, your home office decor should reflect your personality and style of working through the colour palette.

It's worth noting that magnetic paint will require two to three coats to hold magnets well and if you are going to cover it with a light shade, you may want to use a primer first, as magnetic paint appears black when it dries. Once ready, you can hang your schedule or works in progress using magnets on the wall, for a truly personalised look.
You can also purchase chalk paint to transform your wall, or space into a giant blackboard. However, it can get messy in a home office as chalk dust can collect, as well as potentially clog electronic devices.
Adding personal and practical touches to the home office can transform the workstation into a homely and inspiring place. There is so much you can do to make the office your own, including simple touches such as adding family photos and potted plants. However, crafting something for the home office gives it a unique personality and may just mean that you'll work more happily in the space.
