Thursday has rolled around again, it really does astound me how quick time flies by an each week. As I sit down to write this post I am reminded that I must cherish every moment as they are gone in a flash.
I'm celebrating something from each day in the last week -
Thursday, JJ's Parent evening - We got told what we thought we'd hear, that he is super bright, destined for 8s and 9s across the board, but he rushes and needs to go into more depth in a couple of subjects. He makes me so proud.
Friday, We went to see the local village panto - and it was good fun. It's fab to watch a production where you know many of the characters and can enjoy all the village jokes.
Saturday, We went to an enormous craft fayre - it was fabulous and we all really enjoyed th yummy street food. I went to Turkish chicken skewer, with handmade bread, Greek salad, humus and tatziki.
Sunday, We all helped with the refugee party - there was a big party being hosted at the conference centre where we live, so we all got involved in providing the food, welcoming people and showing them where to go.
Monday, We had a pancake pastoral - after some delicious pancakes, we watched the movie Pay it Forward, which yet again made me cry.
Tuesday, I got my necklace mended - back in 2011 I received a gorgeous necklace from the kids for Mothers Day and recently I'd lost one part of it, so I was very pleased to have it mended and polished. I'm super happy to wear it again now.
Wednesday, I did an Enneagram workshop - I'm loving the Enneagram, which is a personality typing tool. I find it really enlightening and it helps you to know who you are and how you can grow in a healthy manner.
Thursday, We're going for afternoon tea - I've got another great Groupon deal, so hubby and I are off for afternoon tea today, after I've made a trip to the gym.
Come and Join In!
I'd love to read your Reasons to be Cheerful and it is as easy as 1, 2, 3 to join in -
1. Link up a post about something that is making you super happy/ grateful. It can be in this style or it can be anything you like - a recipe, a tutorial, a from the heart, a list - it's your blog, you choose
2. Add the #R2BC badge onto your post or blog so that people can easily find the linky and join in too if they fancy
3. Share the love. This is the really important bit. Please don't just link and run, comment on at least a couple of posts and why not share with #R2BC too?
I'll stop by all linked up posts to comment and I'll share on twitter too
Becky and I are taking a much needed festive rest and #R2BC will be on holiday until January, where it will then be with Becky at Lakes Single Mum.
